I am kind of embarassed that it's been so long since I blogged or journaled. I have experienced many interesting things, and have little time to reflect and write about them.
This October, I have just come back home from a men's retreat for my church. It was a great catalyst for thinking, praying, and planning. I felt like large circles intersected this month...
18 years ago in October, on Yom Kippur 1997, I sang and confessed and prayed to Christ with other Christian men in Washington, D.C. in a massive gathering named "Stand in the Gap".
And most significantly, 25 years ago I was converted to faith in Jesus while at a youth convention in Edmonton, Canada.
But all those circles are dusty and nostalgic compared with the reality of the birth last month of our 5th child Lana Kay Thankful Huseland. We not only have 5 girls; we also have 1 year in which our eldest and youngest are both at home... one year of an entire and complete family before each child's story grows beyond this home.
