Distant Lightning

Watching a faraway thunderstorm from 15,000 ft is awesome. An orchestra of light swiftly illuminates the cloudy theater of sky. I saw the dim but massive glow of a city to the south, probably Minneapolis. Now we're flying just north of Green Bay. The storm's front looks like it's over Appleton or Fondelac. My family near Sheboygan, Wisconsin may get some rain tonight. I think our plane is outdistancing the storm at roughly 1500 mph. However, I think its due to catch up with me tomorrow, according to the forecast for Newark and Boston, my two next stops.
