Cobblestones

Main Lane, countryside near Kenyon, Cheshire, England. Taken June 2004.
Cobblestones are shaped kind of like teeth--they have long roots to them and are set into the ground 8 inches deep or so, fit together in a stone mosaic that makes for bumpy but nonetheless steady driving. These date from a century ago.
