Hey there,
It's nothing like the Midwest but here in Eastern Washington we are getting some subzero temps and wind chills. Quite amazing really--the coldest weather for a while. There's scrape-your-car cold, and then there's it's-so-cold-there's-no-dew-to-freeze-to-your-windshield-cold. That's what we've had. I confess a deep dark secret: I like it. I like being bundled up and walking the 6 blocks to my school at 6:30 in the morning while it's still dark. I like breathing in and the cold air making the inside of my nose tingle. It's so bracing, I guess... got it from my years in the mid-west.
How's the winter so far by you all?
Brian

"Piping for the blood" as Ebenezer would say.
I'm feeling a little under house arrest. It's nice to have Troy and the kids home, though, so that we can just enjoy family time vs. running like chickens with our heads cut off.
Stay warm!
House arrest, I can understand. It's a little easier when the kids are old enough to play in the snow without you.
Thankfully it's not as cold as earlier this week. But wow, this second winter in Spokane is fast becoming even more amazing than last winter. If another person says to me, "Spokane winters aren't usually like this" I will raise my eyebrow (right one, I can't raise my left one).
