Reformation Day at Home, Church, and School

I love Reformation Day, because it's a holiday which takes spiritual elements of Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving and combines them with an appreciation for historical events in such a way that the whole family can enjoy it. I didn't grow up with this, so it is a tradition I have come to identify with as a follower of Christ and a lover of the Holy Bible. Plus it's fun.
At home, each day this week we highlighted the 5 solas (the mottoes of the Reformation--found here) by hanging ornaments on our "sola house", including appropriate Scripture and songs along with it.
We had a Reformation shindig for our church small group at one of the member's houses, complete with a smorgasbord of German food and a guessing game where everyone role played different 15th and 16th century Reformers from Europe.
Here I am in my Martin Luther get-up at school. I dressed up Thursday and Friday to pique students' curiosity in the Protestant Reformation and why we should be so thankful for it. Later this week I will post my "9.5 reasons why we should celebrate the Reformation".

A looks remarkably like her Mom - I hope you don't mind off-topic remarks like that - but I love seeing photos of your girls.
