Well, so far this week I have learned to love my students even though they talk out of turn and are impulsive and act immaturely.
Seeing how they are made in God's image, and keeping that separate from the misbehaviour, has helped me to enjoy them better. As I try to keep a firm hand on the class, individually I am finding out more and more about each child, and building a trusting relationship.
One thing I share with them is a sense of humour... they love to laugh.
